Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are not converting to Islam nor did they have their daughter North “baptized” into the religion, despite a new claim. Gossip Cop can correct the rumor which began on Monday. According to MediaTakeOut, Kardashian and West got North officially “baptized” into Islam by Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. But that’s not all. The webloid speculates that “Kim and Kanye want to officially CONVERT” to Islam. First off, there’s no such thing as being “baptized” into Islam. The concept of immersing in holy water or baptisms is an entirely Christian belief. Also, West and Kardashian are not, repeat not, converting to Islam. A rep for Kardashian tells Gossip Cop exclusively the report is “absolutely not true,” adding the couple is “not converting.” Of course, MediaTakeOut has built a reputation for itself by being wrong about Kardashian and West. The webloid has repeatedly (and incorrectly) reported that Kardashian was pregnant, leaving or dumped by West. The site even once oddly claimed the reality star was secretly “bald.” Additionally, MediaTakeOut laughably reported West and Kardashian had broken up, not long before the two wed in Italy. In fact, the blog’s stories have been so far off-base about the pair that West once declared during a concert that MediaTakeOut was “so f*cking full of sh*t.”
